Hard-backed book. Rebound neatly. Dark blue imitation leather on the spine with gilt tooling, gilt lettering on a black imitation leather patch. The front board is light blue imitation leather, with a strip of dark blue imitation leather along the spine and two corner pieces of dark blue imitation leather
The back board is light blue imitation leather, with a strip of dark blue imitation leather along the spine and two corner pieces of dark blue imitation leather. Fair condition. There is a new paste down at the front, the existing end paper has been partially glued to the new end paper. The half title has come loose at 7 cm from the bottom. The spine has split from the top to the bottom,between the half title page and the title page.The first six pages are curled up at the bottom right hand side. On the acknowledgements page, the page has been folded twice and the bottom right hand corner has been curled up. The top edges of the book is faded. The side edges of the book is faded. The bottom edges of the book is faded. All the pages are faded but in a clean and readable condition. The fly leafs are coming loose at the back of the book. There is a inscription at the back of the book stating that" This special edition of A Conrad Argosy is set in a 11 pt Janson Linotype with Bulmer handset headings. The wood cut illustrations are by Hans Alexander Muller and the design and typography by A P Tedesco The Printing and binding were done by the Country Life Press at Garden City, Long Island. New York.

We also run an Online Shop from our Online Suite, sending high quality clothing, books and records all over the world. We have a Facebook page, full of information on what we do in store and how your support helps fight poverty all over the world. 

We have a large and varied team of volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to join our team.
