Two volumes from a set of three. Volume I contains the text and is essentially a gazetteer of architectural design terms. The second volume (Part I of two) features 136 pages of plates, preceeded by a very brief reference to the location. Bound in leather with a gilt coat of a4rms on all boards and gilt edges.

Condition: Overall wear to the covers of both volumes. The back board of the second volume is essentially detached. though a superficial repair has been effected in order to maintain the cosmetic integrity of the book. Both volumes have an ex-libris sticker on the pastedown. Two loose pages in Volume II. Occasional light foxing throughout both books.
