In 1831 Thomas Oliver published the first really comprehensive guide to Newcastle upon Tyne. The book presents a fascinating picture of Newcastle over a century ago. Also contains fold-out map and drawings of Newcastle.

Hardback edition from 1970, limited to 950 copies, with dust jacket. Book is in very good condition with minor signs of wear and/or age. Presumed name of previous owner in inside cover. Dust jacket in good condition - slightly creased in places and crumpled along the top.
