The unclipped dustjacket is discoloured with some tears. The cloth covered hardback is in good condition for the age of the book, with a little bumping. The binding is sound. There is a dedication plate on the front endpaper. Apart from a little spotting the pages are unmarked and the fold-out maps intact.
First edition published 1936.
