Blue Hardback with gilt lettering, no DJ. pp 80, with fold out pages of aircraft plans. Good condition with bumping to spine and corners, cover shows handling wear. B/W adverts at start and finish. Contains aircraft from Great Britain, United States of America, Germany, Italy, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Japan and Netherlands East Indies. Coloured frontispiece Hurribombers by C. Rupert Moore. Tracings by Kathleen Clifton and Barbara Pearson.

Includes contents of Volume I and Volume II with the note "There is no question of later volumes being more up to date than earlier ones. Each is representative of the aircraft flown in a particular year, and the complete set of volumes will be necessary to form a complete record of all the aircraft used by the fighting powers in this present war."
