Alexander Coachbuilders

£6.99

Product description

Used, good condition, hard cover.
The products of most bus bodybuilders tend to become closely associated with particular parts of the country and Alexander bodies have long been familiar in Scotland. This book, published in 1980, looks at the growth of the company, from its start as a small in-house unit to its ranking in that small, select band of British bus bodybuilders, with an annual production of around 800 bodies. The book contains a large number of black and white photographs, many from the author's own collection.
The hard cover has bumping to the top and bottom of the spine and a little to the corners. There is some light rubbing to the back cover and the bottom edges of the cover. However, the binding is sound and the pages are all clean and unmarked.
