Alphonse Mucha: The Complete Graphic Works

£14.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

This new revised and enlarged edition includes many many of Alphonse Mucha's works in colour - the majority of his best known panneaux and posters and a representative selection of his illustrations for calendars, menus, books, periodicals and postcards, several of which appear here for the first time since their original publication. Also included is a foreword by his son Jiri Mucha and an additional essay by Anna Dvorak on his illustrations for books and periodicals and by Marina Henderson on his life and work. This large paperback book contains 192 pages and 163 colour plates printed on glossy paper. This 1991 reprint is in very good condition. The paperback cover has a few scratches and a small tear of less than 0.5cm to the back at the top. The back of the cover also has a sticky mark at the bottom from where a label has been removed. There is some very minor dogging to the corners of the first and last few pages from how the book has been stored but otherwise the page block and pages are in very good condition.
