"Forming also a guide to all the watering places" by J.D.Parry , published for the author by Wright & Son, Brighton in 1833. Full page plates. Only one with onion skin.

Includes: Brighton to Hastings; Hastings to Herstmonceaux and Pevensey; Hastings to Winchelsea and Rye; Cinque Ports; Hastings to Battle, Ashburnham, Lewes, and Brighton; Michael Drayton's account of Sussex Coast, Polyolbion with notes 1612; Brighton to Chichester; Worthing; Arundel; Chichester; Goodwood;Tunbridge Wells.

This volume is in fair condition for its age, the block is good with deckled edges, and some discolouration, transfer from plates, and marks to pages. The block has been rebacked in the past, presumably retaining original boards and a label produced from original spine material. Library numbers in gold on spine. Boards very worn and corners bumped and exposed. The spine material is also very worn at edges and bumped head and tail. Remains of a red sticker runs around spine. Sticky tape has been used to reinforce cracked hinges. Map inside front cover partially detached. Stamps for Eastbourne Free Library.
