This book is number 56 of a thousand copies printed in 1893. It is a collection of Anacreon poems in original Greek translated by Thomas Stanley and edited by A. H. Bullen. This book contains 9 black and white illustrated plates by J. R. Weguelin.

The book is in quite good condition for its age however is heavily foxed at the beginning of the book and has light foxing throughout. It also contains a small inscription on the bottom of the publication page. The pages are also uncut throughout the book, however is tightly bound. Contains a book plate on the inside of the front cover. There are 2 additional illustrations attached by a previous owner.
