Andersen's Fairy Tales

£11.99

Product description

Larger than normal book with paste-on pictorial covers and green cloth binding.

Both hinges are broken and ragged on the outside. On the inside the front is loose but still well attached, the rear is in good order.

All edges are worn and chipped with two spots on the front cover where the surface has been damaged.

No inscriptions.

There is a tipped in book plate on the title page completed in childish handwriting.

The binding is generally very tight giving the impression the book has had little use. To maintain the original condition of the binding and hinges we did not open pages to take pictures except where they had already been opened.

Foxing is only an issue on the first and last few pages.

We have not done a full inspection but as far as we can see there are no markings in the text.
