First Edition, published in 1939 by the Favil Press. As Beauty Comes, by Hedley Lucas. A collection of poems, signed by the Author.

Good condition hardback, with good original dustjacket. The covers are lightly edge-worn, faded and bumped at the corners. Gilt titles to the front board and spine, the latter have tarnished. The edges of the block are foxed, and the front edge is roughly cut, creating a textured effect. Author's signature to the title page. The dustjacket is edge-worn, with some chipping to the top of the spine, and is lightly foxed all over with a tanned spine. The jacket has not been price clipped.
