Hardback; 190 x 250 mm; green boards with titles in black on spine; 96 pages, top edge page ends painted green; Illustrations in monochrome within text plus 16 colour plates. No dust jacket.

The book is in good condition. The binding is sound. Some wear to the covers. Page end tanning. Some spots on the verso of the back free endpaper. Creasing of the front free endpaper, and annotations in blue ink that appear to have been inadequately erased.
Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe (1901 – 1979) was an internationally renowned naturalistic painter of British birds and other wildlife.
