Bolles/Wilson

£41.99

Product description

Bolles/Wilson

Both book and dust jacket are in good condition. The original dust jacket is wrapped in a see-through cover. The book is a good, clean copy.

The text is in English and German and illustrated throughout with photographs and drawings.

This work presents the most recent buildings and projects by the German architectural office Bolles-Wilson. Their architecture is characterized by the meeting of German and Anglo-Saxon cultures, with high-quality design down to the smallest detail and a refreshing command of architectural fantasy.;The aim of the architects is to "take up one of the principal responsibilities of architecture: to focus, to anchor, to give measure". This monograph shows buildings and projects from the period 1993 to 1997 in Munster, Castropo-Rauxel, Hengeloo and Rotterdam, where their New Luxor Theatre forms a high point in the urban design development programme for this harbour city. For this work Bolles + Wilson won the competition in 1996.
