Publisher: Brockhampton Press Ltd., Salisbury Road, Leicester, England. Printed in Great Britain by Hazell Watson and Viney Ltd.. First published 1934. This revised edition published 1966. Hardback, 152 pages, with attractive pictorial dustjacket. Illustrated by C. Walter Hodges with black and white drawings. From the dustjacket: "It is a rousing story of medieval England, of the clash between the rich and the poor, and above all of Robin Hood." Cover in green cloth boards with gilt titling to spine in good condition. Slight fading to spine extremities and bottom of upper and lower cover. Bumping to lower spine and lower corners. Internally the book is in generally good clean condition, with some spotting on a few of the pages and foxing to the endpapers. The binding is firm and secure. The dustjacket has a few small closed tears, some little nicks and chips to the top edge along with some light tanning. Dustjacket not price clipped. Overall a nice historical children's book.
