This hardback book is in very good condition. The cover is in very good condition, with almost no wear. The previous owner has inked her name on the free front endpaper, but otherwise the pages are in excellent condition - clean, tight and unmarked.

Since the previous edition of this text was published there hasbeen a sustained expansion in the knowledge and understanding ofthe pathophysiology of the medical diseases that affect the dog.This has been complemented by significantly improved methods todiagnose and manage these diseases. The fourth edition of thistextbook has been designed to reflect these many advances and hasnecessitated a radically different approach from the previousedition. There are now fourteen sections, each with an editor toco-ordinate the chapters in that section. The number of authorscontributing to this edition has expanded from twenty-nine toseventy-eight. Each section in the book has been written to giveboth concise reviews of the subject and a logical approach to themanagement of the clinical problems. A significant number oftables, flow diagrams and illustrations have been included toassist the clinician in accessing key clinical information.

Oxfam Books & Music Beeston

The Beeston books and music shop is situated near to Nottingham University, close to the city of Nottingham. There is a train station nearby. We offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, academic books, and rare or collectable items. There is a wide variety of music, including sheet music and a good selection of high quality classical, rock and pop vinyl. The volunteer team is a diverse mix from the local community, and University. We are currently recruiting for a quality control volunteer. We always welcome good quality, saleable donations which can be delivered to our rear entrance.
