Historical novel, military story; France/Spain etc, part of a series by this author set in the Napoleonic era. This is re part of The Peninsula Wars, particularly the Battle of Corunna, (events leading up to which began 1807, the Battle itself was in 1809; the story is 1808-9). Wellington is still 'Sir Arthur Wellesley'.
The fictional Regiment in the book is 'The 105th Foot, The Prince Of Wales' Own Wessex Regiment', and members of the regiment are the narrators of events.
Signed by the author, 'to Gordon', on the inside of the front cover, undated. Book published 2013, first edition stated. Larger format p/b (size of a H/B novel), a fairly hefty 548 numbered pages, a few are prelims, one at the end is blank.
