Developments in Structural Engineering Vol One

£19.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Volume one - Bridges and Space Structures

The Forth Rail Bridge was opened in 1890. It took seven years to build and has been described as the greatest monument to engineering and industrial skills of its era. The Centenary Conference considers the design and construction of the bridge and then presents reviews of recent developments in all aspects of structural engineering. Invited keynote papers cover bridges, wide span and space structures, industrial structures, structural analysis and many other topics.

This hardback book is in good used condition. There is a small mark on the inner front cover and slight foxing to the fore edge. Very slight creasing to base of spine of cover.
There is a slight indentation to the edge of 10 pages. The book does appear to have been barely opened, so the indentation appears to be from manufacture. The pages are clean and unmarked and the binding is tight.

The second volume is also available from New Milton Oxfam online store.
