A first edition copy of this first collection in book form of Lucy Dawson's delightful drawings of dogs in all their variety and moods. Burgundy cloth, gilt/white titles; spine sunned and worn with small loss lower end, otherwise unmarked. 

Dustwrapper unclipped (but price inked out), slightly grubby, very edgeworn with nicks/losses; spine edges split and larger end losses but just holding together. Offsetting and scattered foxing to eps, otherwise internally unmarked and well preserved. Unpaginated; 22 colour plates plus many b&w drawings, brief introduction and captions.
