Published in 1927 this book is in fair condition. The first few and last few blank pages have foxing on them. The pages containing the paintings are free from foxing. The spine has discoloured and there is a tear to it and wear to the ends.


350 copies of this book were printed of which this is copy 220. The full title of the book is, ' Early Flemish Paintings in the Renders Collection at Bruges exhibited at the Belgian Exhibition, Burlington house, January 1927 with an introduction by G Hulin de Loo and Notices by Edouard Michel.' Included are black and white and color paintings preceded by a description and a leaf of tissue paper.
