This is the story about a Spanish family and the reality of a dream that came to life in the sleepy village of Warsash on the River Hamble in the 1960s. Eduardo Gil i Soler, born in 1923, first brought his wife and two sons to England from Barcelona in the mid 1950s. Finally, on a beautiful summer evening in July 1966 the family opened the doors of their restaurant in Warsash and so began their love affair with the village and the restaurant 'Eduaro's Cortijo'.

Paperback book in very good condition. Binding sound and pages clean and unmarked. There is some very slight creasing to the top of the spine, the book is signed by the author on the title page and on the first free end page there is an inscription 'To Tilou, 2013, A blast from the past, Mih and Linda'.

93 pages, many coloured and b/w photos including photos of the author.
