'By Richard Bentley, M.A. The Sixth Edition. To which are added, three sermons: One at the Public Commencement, July 5. 1969 when he proceeded Doctor in Divinity; another before the University, Nov. 5. 1715 and one before his late Majesty King George I. Feb. 3. 1716/17.' 1735 edition.

Condition: Pages and boards are original but spine has been replaced and binding restrung; some early pages have been rebound into the book and back cover has been reattached. Boards very rubbed and worn, with marks and scratches; heavy corner wear through to boards below, some interior hinge splitting at front. Pages have marks and discouration commensurate with age, and some few pencil annotations; name and date of previous owner on title page, old note on back FEP. Binding intact.
