The complete set of 6 from the Ladybird Book of Travel Adventure series 597. Published by Wills & Hepworth.

Written by David Scott Daniell, and illustrated by Jack Matthew. Buff-coloured boards with blue-coloured front cover drawings, the end papers are illustrated with maps.

Appear to be probable first editions, as each volume is the last title appearing in the list of the series on the rear flap of the dust jacket.
Each one is complete with its original dust jacket, and the prices (2'6) have not been clipped.

For most Ladybird books, some investigation is required to accurately ascertain the true publication date. Details of each volume are listed:

Flight One Australia - Probable first edition published in 1958. Complete with unclipped dust jacket. Open-winged butterfly logo. 51 pages. Some damage to the dust jacket; wear on the top of the spine and a small section missing on the front bottom right. No annotations. Small pencil marks on rear flap of the dust jacket, which also has a red crayon marks. Binding sound, slightly bumped corners to the boards. Acceptable condition. Flight Two Canada - Probable first edition published in 1959. Complete with unclipped dust jacket. Open-winged butterfly logo. 51 pages. Some light wear to the dust jacket. Pretty clean and good condition with a firm binding.

Fresh and clean condition with a firm binding. A former owner's name is written in pencil on the front end paper, there is also a gift inscription written on the page opposite the title page.
