A collection of articles written for "The Pioneer" newspaper by Miss Hay, introduced by Lord Hailey, and illustrated with woodcuts by Enver Ahmed. Rare 1939 First edition. Large 8vo. Map to endpapers. Binding very loose. Pages are clean and bright. Book store's stamp at foot of title page. Bound in original red cloth with black titles; worn along spine. There are some curious small, barely noticeable, pinholes of unknown origin which permeate the book from front cover and extend through most of the pages. Dust jacket has been price clipped, is lightly marked and has some large open and closed tears along the edges and spine.
