Julia

£6.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Reminiscences of a year in the life of Madeleine (Mrs Robert Henrey), a 17 year old French girl new to London, working as a very junior assistant in a shop in Regent Street. A very well known author of the post war period, whose wartime experiences in particular, deserve more attention.
Book, bound in black cloth with gilt lettering on spine, is unmarked and virtually as new. Jacket, bright in protective sleeve, rubbed on top of spine, small loss, diagonal cut on bottom of front inner fold, though price (£2.10) has not been lost. A very good copy of a scarce title. (Several other titles by same author in stock)
