Published 1942-43 by Natur och Kultur: Stockholm. Hardback. Two volumes. Painted boards with leather spine and corners. Gilt lettering on spine is still bright. Water stain on spine of volume 2. Some minor shelf wear. Marbled end papers. Faint foxing to first and last blank pages. Minor tanning of inside pages. Binding still tight. Overall this set is in good condition.

Swedish language. Roughly translates as "Chinese Art over Three Millennia"

Osvald Siren was an internationally acclaimed art historian from Sweden. These two volumes deal with Chinese art from earliest times to the Ch'ing period.

Volume I: Fran Forhistorisk tid till Tiden Omkring 600 E. Kr. (464 pp)
Volume II: Fran Borjan av T'ang - till Mitten av Ch'ing-Perioden. (696 pp)

Both volumes are illustrated with many b&w photos and line drawings as well as several full-page colour plates.

N.B. Because of their considerable weight, this set incurs an additional charge for postage.
