Life Story of H.H Roberts - Revivalist

£3.99

Product description

This book is the life story of a Christian Revivalist called Henry Hosah Roberts. Although not a particularly famous pastor, he was remembered by the inhabitants of the area for his strong spirit in reviving Christian traditions, and helping to revitalise the faith of the local community by his energetic work to raise money and fund the construction of a school chapel. The Book, although undated, seems to be around 100 years, as it seems to include information from living accounts of listening to the preacher, who died in 1867. A good book for anyone interested in the history of fairly normal lives of a hundred years ago, an aspect of history that is usually lost to time.

Considering that age, the book is in very good condition. It has suffered some discolouration. It has suffered significant reading wear, but not to the degree of damage.
