Internally tanned to endpapers and page edges but otherwise clean and unmarked, apart from dedication in biro on front free endpaper. Frontispiece has b/w illustration, numerous further full page and in text illustrations by Gordon Browne, T. Scott and E.A. Lemann. The title page gives the description 'My Own Fairy Book, namely certain chronicles of Pantouflia, as notably the Adventures of Prigio, Prince of that country, with an Excerpt from the Annals of Scotland, as Ker of Fairnilee.'
