Macedonian Cultural Heritage: Ohrid World Heritage Site by Pasko Kuzman

£12.99

Product description

This paperback was published with the financial support of UNESCO Venice office in 2009.

Pasko Kuzman is a Macedonian archaeologist and he has been working on the whole territory of the Republic of Macedonia, but especially in the Skopje area and Lake Ohrid, one of the deepest lakes in Europe. There, he has been excavating 3,000-year-old submerged sites of Lychnidos, and some remains in the area of the Samuil's Fortress, which were built probably at the time of Philip II.[citation needed]

Kuzman is considered in the Republic of Macedonia to be the most deserved man for the archaeologist findings in the country in the recent years.

The book is in very good condition, binding sound and pages clean and unmarked. There are 195 pages, most with beautiful colour photographs. The very corners of the front and back covers are ever so slightly bent and there are some fine surface scratches on the outer of the cover, but otherwise the book appears unopened and unused.
