Hardback with light brown cloth boards and titles in gilt to spine and crest of the University of Pretoria in gilt to cover in very good condition. Spine bumped top and tail. Dustjacket in very good minus condition, with a little to chipping top and bottom of spine and to cover at back on bottom edge; spine also lightly sunned but titles still legible. Jacket has been repaired inside with sellotape at the top. Light scratchmarks to front of jacket and foxing to back.Foxing to top edge of text block and bottom is a little grubby. Clean and unmarked iternally. Includes distribution maps, line illustrations and colour plates. Bibliography, indexes of scientific names, English names, and Afrikaans names at the end. A heavy book which may incur extra postage.
