MEMOIR OF MARY LUNDIE DUNCAN

£9.99

Product description

This book is a ' Being Recollections of a Daughter' by her Mother. This biography is of Mary Lundie Duncan, who was a Scottish poet and hymnwriter from Kelso, Scotland.

The book is mainly text, although does include a black and white sketch of Kelso.

Published in 1884

The book is hardback and the boards of the book are mahogany in colour with black and gold detailing including a Celtic design.

The book is is in fair condition, for its age. All corners of the boards are bumped and there are signs of shelf wear on the edges of the spine. The rear board has whiter marks on it, which could possibly be paint, these do not wipe off with a cloth, but it is possible they would be removed by acetone. The end papers of the book are a floral detail, but the free papers do show signs of darkening with age and possibly damp. The internal pages are mostly blemish free, although some do have a very small amount of foxing.
