The text in this beautifully illustrated book is entirely in German save for a few of the images. There are 208 pages with numerous partly coloured illustrations and other illustrations partly on plates. 35 x 26 cm. The protective cover is slightly rubbed and has a few marks. There is a small sticker on the first free end paper 'in libris felictas - Ex Libris - John R Beaumont'.

On page 64 there is an image of a programme in 1897 ' The Jubilee Cup' In Commemoration of the Jubilee of the 60th year of the Reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria presented by H. I. M The German Emperor K. G. This programme was prepared by printers Gubbins in Cowes I.O.W.

There is also a lovely image on page 90 of the invitation and luncheon menu of the launching of the schooner yacht Meteor when the President of the United States and HRH Prince Henry of Prussia were present in 1902.

The book itself is in good condition although the top corners and edge of the front cover are showing slight signs of wear.
