A Brief History of the Rise and Progress of Wesleyan Methodism in the Leek Circuit; with Biographical Sketches of Several Eminent Characters by the Rev. J. B. Dyson, printed by Edward Hallowes, Leek; published by J. Mason, 1853.

Condition is good, considering the age of the book. The front board is significantly faded, however the gilt lettering and embossed details are still present for the most part. There is significant shelfwear at the top and bottom of the spine, and the corners are bumped. On the inside of the frontboard several previous owners have written their name, as well as on the FFEP. There is a hole on the FFEP. The pages are coming loose from the spine. AEG, however the gilting is faded.
