Published in 1952 by Werner Laurie. Pictorial boards with cloth spine strip.

A selection of writings by the Hermoine Gingold, many of which were previously published in magazines such as Lilliput, The Tatler and The Evening Standard. Covering a variety of topics ranging from a few pages on a single topic, to her thoughts of the country at war which runs to some thirty pages.

Hermione Ferdinanda Gingold (1897–1987) was an English actress known for her sharp-tongued, eccentric persona.

This is signed by the author, Hermoine Gingold on the front end-paper.

The spine of the cover is faded, however the book is in pretty clean condition with only light wear. There are a few foxing spots on the early pages.
