The following is taken from the dj of this 1984 Revised Edition ............ "This book celebrates the rediscovery of porcelain as a medium for creative artists in ceramics, through the wonderful and delicate forms made by hand-building. The author is one of the world's leading exponents of hand-built pottery, and shows, through her own work, how the technique of pinching and coiling can be used to produce highly refined and elegant ceramics.".
