OPTICRON IMAGIC BGA SE 8x42 Roof Prism BINOCULARS

£199.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

The 6th generation Opticron Imagic BGA SE challenges any preconceptions you have regarding the quality and performance you can expect when spending a lot of money on a roof prism binocular. Remaining true to the original design concept; a range of compact, lightweight and ergonomically sound instruments packed with the latest features, the Opticron Imagic BGA SE steps-up the challenge to premium roof prism binoculars offering outstanding performance and value for money. And here at Oxfam we know all about offering value for money don't we? Check our price and you'll see what we mean. By way of background, Opticron BGA = full field of view for spectacle wearers. GA = rubber armouring and W or WA = wide angle. In respect of 8 x 42, the higher the magnification relative to the objective lens size, the lower the brightness and the shallower the depth of focus (distance in focus at a single focus setting.) For general observation choose 7 x or 8 x. .The field of view, here 7.0, of a binocular is dependent on the optical design and is expressed as either the width of panoramic view in metres from a distance of 1000 m or in degrees where 1° is approximately 17.45 m, therefore by my reckoning 122.15 m, though I stand to be corrected.

Dimensions 19 cm x 12 cm x 5 cm.

Weight binoculars 700 g with case 900 g
