Paulo Mendes da Rocha - projetos 1957-1999

£160.00

Product description

The text of this book is in Portuguese and English.

Winner of the 2006 Pritzker Prize, the most important in architecture, Paulo Mendes da Rocha (1928) is presented in this book according to recurrent themes in his work: territory, technique and the city. The projects selected by the architect himself, such as the Uranian Reservoir, the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture in São Paulo, and the Serra Dourada Stadium in Goiás illustrate each of these subjects, composing a visual narrative. Brief memorials describe the genesis and development of each project, clarifying its trajectory. The third edition brings new photos of his works built.

There is slight bumping to the corners of the front cover. Otherwise, the book is in excellent condition throughout.
