Permaculture One: A Perennial Agriculture for Human Settlements [1987]

£29.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

First published in Australia in 1978, this is the 1987 reprint published by Tagari.

'A revolutionary approach to agriculture, combing landscape design with perennial plants and animals, to make a safe and sustainable resource for city and country. A truly appropriate technology giving high yields for low energy inputs, and using only human skills and intellect to achieve a stable resource of great complexity and stability.'

This book looks at how to build a sustainable environment by planting the right plants in the right place. It is a detailed study that will also be of interest to the general reader. Includes numerous charts and tables listing the qualities of the different plant discussed in the text.

Clearly a well read favourite there is some rubbing wear and creasing on the covers, however the internal pages are in a decent clean condition and the binding is sound. Small stain on edges of the text block.
