Vol 1 covers Great Britain and Ireland.
Vol II covers more of Great Britain and the West Coast of Ireland.
Vol III covers Normandy & Brittany, The Rhine, Rome, Venice, The Cornice Road and The Forest of Fontainbleau among others.
Vol IV cover Norway, The Channel islands, The Black Forest, The Lake Geneva, Old German Towns and The Frontiers of France among others.
Vol V covers Sweden, Gibraltar and Ronda, Russia, Eastern Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, The Jura and Constantinople among others with a general index for all previous Volumes.
Undated, but appears to be have been published approximately 1900 or earlier based on general layout and presentation. Gilt titles to fronts & spines with red speckled page edges. Boards are an Olive Green with blind stamped decoration to fronts, rear and spine on all volumes.

CONDITION: Free of inscriptions bar the name 'Jack' marked in light pencil to last page in every volume. Pages a little darkened commensurate with age and general moderate wear and scuffs to boards. Occasional spots of foxing in all volumes. Moderate corner wear on all volumes. Tissue guards for some plates are loose in a couple of instances. Vol 1 has splitting to inside covers at spine edges but is not detached. Vol 2 has similar effect with a little on the outside front spine edge at top left for approx. 6cm. Vol 3 again has splitting to inside spine edges and slightly more moderate scuffs to front board. Vol 4 has a minor chip to top edge and split down half of rear board at spine edge, partially becoming detached but not completely. Vol 5 some minor staining from minor damp. and a spot of gold paint in the bottom corner. All Volumes gilt is bright and clean.Pages inside, bar odd spots, are clean and clear with crisp illustrations. (See photos for more details)
