Product description

Here begins a clear journey for the discovery of simple things, of knowing how to use, of knowing to say, of communicating, of the subtle play of the line in the contour of the ornament, the balance of forms, the weight of the letter, the volume of the sentence or times in the encounter of metaphor. A journey to the discovery of other times and their codes of messages and their supporters, of knowing how to do and pleasure in transmitting it. The Porto Graphic is a sum of signs, symbols and meanings, popular images and erudite images, sometimes profane and other sacred, where the word is often dispensed. Learning to look is a solitary craft craft, to communicate, to say something is the beginning, just like the verb in the biblical phrase, giving the other the possibility to see (read) and interpret. To expose to passersby the practical meaning of vocabulary, the grammar of meanings, first designed in an intricate and deep draft, then executed with skill and laborious handling. The codes of representation require imagination and daring, in Porto despite the diversity of supports the privilege goes to the iron married to the stone, which gives the city a special atmosphere. It is the 'pronunciation of the North', a peculiar form of expression, which has to do with the character of its citizens.
