A collection of comedy plays written by Terence, during the second century BCE. Adapted from Greek plays from the late phases of Attic comedy, these are written in a simple conversational Latin, pleasant and direct.

Two volumes. Calf bound. Simple blind stamped decoration to boards, banded spine with gold text. Edges worn, various scuffs marks and discolourtion. Marbled endpapers. Blue sticker on pastedown of Volume 2. Split at hinge of front endpapers of Volume 1. Inked inscription inside Volume 1. Minor foxing and smudging to text blocks which are otherwise clean and tight. Text block edges coloured red.
