Robert the Bruce - A Ladybird History Book

£11.99

Product description

This edition from series 561 originally had a jacket, but it is now missing.

Most of the details that could help identify the edition were on the jacket, so that probably dates it around early to mid 1960s.

The boards are buff colour with a drawing in blue on the front, the back having a closed wing Ladybird logo.

The endpapers have drawings of items relevant to the text.

Very little sign of wear as the book has been protected by a brown paper cover added by a previous owner.

The bottom rear corner is slightly bumped.

The binding and hinges still quite tight, indicating this book has probably had little use.

There are no inscriptions or markings.

Small amount of random foxing but not a big feature.

The book is slightly warped (concave from the front).

This item is in remarkably good condition for a child's book of this age.
