Product description

Haedback. Quarter bound in black and brown leather. All spines, gilt letters, numbers and gilt banding, bumped top and bottom. All front-boards and backboards bumped, rubbed,shelf-worn, All have marbled edges, top edges of all volumes are dusty. Used good condition. All paste-downs and end-papers, sunned. All pages have some amount of foxing, all are otherwise clean and complete. Volume one has the most signs of ware, the spine is chipped and split on the left hand side. Hinge between back paste-down and end-paper cracked. Also has the most signs of shelf-ware on the boards. Volume two, Hinge between back paste-down and end-paper cracked. Some pages have small ink stains.

We also have a range of beautiful Bridalwear and Retro clothing, and a huge choice of accessories to compliment any outfit and occasion. 

On the first floor we have a large books and music room with comfortable seating provided, so that you can take your time while browsing and pick the perfect item. We have a vast and ever changing selection of Homewares and Bric-a-Brac, from bargain items to antiques and everything in between. We stock Fairtrade food and drinks, gifts and cards all year round, and we have an amazing Christmas range, with gifts to suit all tastes and budgets. 

We also run an Online Shop from our Online Suite, sending high quality clothing, books and records all over the world. We have a Facebook page, full of information on what we do in store and how your support helps fight poverty all over the world. 

We have a large and varied team of volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to join our team. We have dozens of opportunities, including Customer Service, Stock Handling, Social Media, Online Sales, Book Sales, and many, many more.
