A unique book containing "Seaward's New Crystal Palace Guide" containing a guide to its environs and a description of the Crystal Palace and which does not seem to be in any collection, and "Guide to the Crystal Palace and it's Park and Gardens". with new plans and illustrations, and an index of Principal Objects xvi + 192pp complete with frontispiece engraving of the Crystal Palace, folding map showing Conveyance by Road and Rail, folding Ground Plan, folding Plan of the grounds, double-page Plan of Space for Exhibition, numerous illustrations in the text some of which full-page, and Exhibitors' Advertisement Catalogue.
Rebound in half binding in leather leather and marbled paper. The spine has come away at the front, and the front cover has come away after first two pages. Pages inside in generally good condition with a little foxing, all maps complete and attached.
