Second Volume of Old English Ditties Selected W Chappells Popular Music of the Olden Time

WAS £14.99 £7.49

Product description

Red cloth covered hard boards with black and gilt decoration and titles on the front, and gilt titles on the spine.

There is a white mark from a removed sticker near top left corner of front board.

The corners and spine top and bottom indicate slight bumping, however the overall appearance of the boards is good, with slight rubbing on spine, and no colour fading which might be expected with age of the book.

Inside the binding is intact and tight, however there is a small tear to hinge at the front endpapers, which are yellowed with age.

There are signs of foxing to the Title page and Index page, and some sporadic foxing throughout the book but otherwise the pages are clean and show little signs of use commensurate with age.

There is a signature and inscription in ink on front end paper, and a Publishers stamp on title page.
