Lamination is scuffed and slightly scratched. Not price clipped..Book in very good condition. Blue boards with gilt titling. Slight shelf wear top and bottom of spine. Small dent in bottom of front board. Corners not bumped.Head page edges a little grubby Otherwise a clean text block. No inscriptions or foxing.

This is the true story of a legendary artist of the ballet, Olga Spessivtzeva whose perfection of technique and sensitivity has never been surpassed. But that loveliness and genius was not balanced with the mental strength to master the inadequacies of the real world. She spent long periods in asylums in Australia and America, She retained many friends including the author, Anton Dolin, who had danced with her and knew her after her performing career was over.
