With five fold-out plates and plans and other illustrations.

Hardback book in very good condition. Red cloth covered boards, title on spine in gilt. Light wear to ends of spine and corners. Small red stamp for 'Priests Library, Strawberry Hill' on free endpapers. Surface of title page roughened in top fore corner where another similar stamp has been partially erased.

Oxfam Books & Music Berkhamsted

Located in the centre of the historic market town, we are open seven days a week. You will find a wide and interesting range of stock, including a great selection of children's books, popular and classical music on vinyl and CD, vintage Penguins and other paperbacks, and quirky and collectable items. Our stock is selected by knowledgeable volunteers, catering for both general readers and specialists. We are happy to check our backroom stock for wanted items and also offer a request service. Our themed windows are usually changed every two weeks, with our December Christmas displays offering a diverse and unusual range of gift ideas.

We welcome your donations, which can be brought to the rear of the building (via the Lower Kings Road Car Park). Please contact us before bringing large quantities to discuss arrangements.
