A 1976 publication (complete with slip-case) of "Tall Ships - The World of Sail Training" by Maldwin Drummond and illustrated by Mike Willoughby. Published by Angus & Robertson, it is also an official publication of the Sail Training Association and includes a foreword by the Duke of Edinburgh.
Some wear commensurate with age/shelf-wear to slip-case - mostly on the edges and corners (please see photo 3).
The book is in very good condition, leather-bound with gilt-edged pages as well as an embossed gilt illustration on the front cover.
Contains numerous photographs and plates, with only some occasional light spotting/tanning on some of the pages (please see photo 5).
Half-title page states that it is part of a limited run of 250 books, signed and numbered. While the author's signature is present, the individual number for the copy is not.
This is a beautiful book in great condition, a lovely gem for those interested in sailing and its history.
