That Little Yellow Duckling

£19.99

Product description

That Little Yellow Duckling -
Henry Frowde; Hodder & Stoughton. c1920. pp38.

Scarce title. Faded paper covered boards, quarter bound to spine in blue. Seriously faded paste down illustrations. Colour frontispiece of duck-based tea time scene. Black and red text to block; some pages have been scribbled upon by a child with a pencil but not too bad. Some pages with tape repairs.
Black and white images by the author to verso and short nursery tales to recto - real vintage stuff.

The bindings are quite loose but still intact. Printed by Thomas Forman and Sons of Nottingham.
Overall this is a gentle and lovely book that has been looked at many time by a young child and now needs care if it is to survive another hundred years.

Oxfam Bookshop Market Harborough

Oxfam is the UK's largest second hand bookseller. Oxfam bookshops offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, classics, and rare or collectable books. We also stock an attractive range of greetings cards and a good selection of stationery. Come and browse!

Could you help us by collecting donations from donors homes? Our shop receives many offers of generous donations that we have to turn down as we do not have volunteers able to collect. We would ask you to collect in your own car, at your convenience and reimburse your petrol costs. It might be a couple of times a month and would make a really big difference to our ability to make money.
