The Anglican Brief Against Roman Claims

£110.00

Product description

This is a book containing information about the Roman Catholic Church from an Anglican perspective, and it therefore contains much explicit or implied criticism of Roman Catholicism throughout. However, according to the book's introduction, "The object is not to make any attack upon the Church of Rome considered simply as a part of the Church Catholic...Their aim is to combat the claim of Rome to be the whole Church, and to show the falseness of her assumption of Supremacy over other Churches, especially over the Church of England." Condition: the front board has become slightly loose, and it also displays some mild to moderate shelf-wear. There is an ex library sticker on the front paste-down, as well as other normal ex-library stamps. The book's edges are affected by some mild marking. The interior pages are mostly clean and bright, and the binding is strong.
