The books contain over 1300 pages of images and text showing the art of the city of florence, including many fold out pages. Includes the art of Giotto, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Donatello, Ghiberti, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Raphael, Leonardo etc.

Originally published by Abbeville in 1988, this is Artabras' first edition published in 1994.
